This is the scariest movie ever by far, so really, if you watch this, which evidently the whole thing is on Youtube, prepared for something that taps into the most metaphysically terrified aspect of the imagination. I've never seen any movie that even is remotely as scary. People say the exorcist. The Exorcist is about 1/100 as scarey as the Haunting. Psycho roughly the same.
It also has alot that is beautiful
The introduction scared me as a kid. I don't even think warning you will lessen the effect. Don't watch it at night, by yourself you might have a heart attack. It's a spiritually terrifying movie.

Here's a couple other chillers. If you aren't watching the whole movie skip to 6:29 minutes into this next clip where Eleanor meets Hill House in utter poetic, psychological terror. It sets up scenes that ACTUALLY are genuinely terrifying. Be afraid.
